I can not get enough of Fashion Drama or the Royals. My whole life I have been fascinated by Princesses, Kings and Queens. I even married my own Prince Charming. Now we FINALLY have a new Princess to BE. Prince William soon will crown his new bride “Lady Kate” and OUR NEW PRINCESS. Ahhhhhhhh the universe will once again be in balance. Now to get to the real question? What Dress will she wear?

It is like yesterday we watched Lady Diana walk down the isle after floating out of her royal carriage in that GORGEOUS wedding gown. Puffy Flowing and should we mention the Trane? How could we forget those images?

There are so many questions opinions and speculations on who will be the lucky designer to get the honor of designing her wedding gown. Here are a few of them.

Kate Middleton’s Wedding Dress – Designers’ Sketches

The dress has to be gorgeous as the bride is. So, the lucky designer Kate Middleton chooses to create the most important dress of her life will be under great pressure but so much privileged. There are some rumors it’s going to be Daniella Issa Helayel, Kate’s favorite designer, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Now there are many designers who are ready to offer their services to Kate Middleton, including Elizabeth Emanuel who designed Princess Diana’s wedding gown. Her vision of Prince William’s fiancée’s wedding dress is interesting to look at. It’s feminine, elegant and truly sophisticated. The design isn’t pompous and looks fabulous. But that’s just my opinion.

Among other designers who have already sent Kate Middleton their sketches we find such names as: Ben Delisi, Uffe Frank, Sassi Holford, Jacques Azagury and others. All of these are British of course. But I wonder if Kate would be allowed to wear a gown created by overseas designer, Vera Wang for example. I know it’s against the tradition but it’s Kate’s wedding, right? Can’t she make her own choice?

Who will design Kate Middleton’s wedding dress?

Now that Prince William and Kate Middleton are officially engaged, the fashion world is abuzz with speculation as to who will get to design the future princess’s dress. Will Middleton’s favorite designer, Daniella Issa Helayel, have a shot at creating the gown?

British oddsmakers Ladsbroke certainly seem to think so, tapping the Brazilian founder of the Issa fashion label as the 3-to-1 favorite to get the nod. This comes after Middleton, 28, wore a stunning blue dress tailor-made by Helayel to the wedding of William’s friend Harry Meade last month, as well as selecting one of her designs for her first official photos as royal fiancée!

Stella McCartney is seen as the next likeliest choice, at odds of 4-to-1, followed by other British designers Julien Macdonald (6-to-1), Vivienne Westwood (8-to-1), John Galliano (14-to-1) and Paul Smith (16-to-1). Grouped together at 20-to-1 odds are Giorgio Armani, Vera Wang and Versace.

As is traditional, the broker is also offering some less-than-serious wagering options, dangling 1000-to-1 odds that Middleton will wear “a tracksuit or shellsuit” in front of the billions of admirers on her special day.

Has Kate Middleton Chosen Her Wedding Dress Designer?

Rumours are circulating that our latest style icon (oh yes, and future Queen of England) Kate Middleton has already chosen her bridal designer. Betting on the designer has closed in, as one name keeps cropping up – Bruce Oldfield. He started as a joint favourite (with Issa) at 4/1, but odds have since been slashed to 1/3. A spokesperson for the betting company Paddy Power commented, “That would mean there is a 75 percent chance of him being the wedding dress designer.” The odds sometimes increase because there has been a leak, and there do seem to be some pretty confident people out there (bets were being taken for around the $800 mark). When I asked you about Kate’s wedding dress, most of you wanted Kate to stick her signature less-is-more, elegant style. Bruce’s unfussy but old world Hollywood couture edge could be the perfect bridal style for the future Mrs Windsor! Stay tuned peeps, we’ll keep you posted on this one.
