Betsey Johnson Last store closed

Just one more day for the Betsey Johnson Website and now all the Betsey Johnson Stores in the State of Florida and most everywhere else have closed.

There were many more we visited but these were last last few open. From Stocked shelves and full dress racks to empty boxes and speckled filled Screw holes in the Pink walls…. This is the last of the Betsey Johnson Legacy of cupcake and champagne openings and Crinoline lined walls. Sad very sad to see it all come to a painful end. I do know this for sure. Not one unit left the state of Florida. Every piece of Clothing, Puffy Party Dress (poofie), Necklace, Bracelet, Bag, Ear muff, Glitter Polly Shoe and Coat, Scarf, Belt, Sweater, Tee, and Wink Cardigan Sweater sold. Not one single item of Betsey Johnson Fan fair was left to ship out of state or went with out a new home. Amazing but true. Im sure that was the story across the country. Even the web site which is quickly selling out is almost barren.

If you check it as you know I have you will see as soon as a single item is posted there are sniper fast checkouts taking place. Oh there is a Size small Plaid Cotton Lycra Skirt ooops it gone. Its been like that all day. Am I the only one stalking the site? Must not be. So its the witching hour for all things Betsey Johnson and after tomorrow we will see if the site goes blank.

I have heard rumor there is one more store open in NY but I can not confirm that to be true. Neither can I validate if there will be a few flagship stores staying Betsey but I will update if I find out for sure.

Whats next? No one knows but there is word of a presence at NY fashion week this fall and a reality show in the works. Please say it so.
