How to Take your Measurements
Buying online and finding your size can be easy with a few steps. Find your correct size by using a tape measure, or by measuring a garment you have at home.
Knowing you can not try your online purchase on before buying can be confusing. However by follow a few very easy steps you can take the guessing out of your decision process.
Bust
Measure under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and over the fullest part of your bust. For fitting a bra, you also need the measurement just under your bust. You can also use a garment from your wardrobe to determine your size. Lying it flat, measure one side and double that number.
Waist
Measure around your waistline. This is the narrow part of your waist, approx. an inch or 2 above your navel. You can also use a garment from your wardrobe to determine your size. Lying it flat, measure one side and double that number.
Hip
The hip should be measured around its fullest part of your hips. You can also use a garment from your wardrobe to determine your size. Lying it flat, measure one side and double that number.
Inseam
This is the measurement from your ankle to your groin or crotch. Another way to get this measurement is to measure a pair of pants you have in your wardrobe. Hem to crotch seam will give you the correct size.
Note: all measurements on tables below are estimates and garments can vary from item to item and from Manufacture to Manufacture. These are meant only to be an estimated guide.
