For the Perfect Waistline This woman wore a corset for seven years to get a 16 inch waist
Ok I just saw this article on Cosmopolitan.co.uk and it made me want to dig a little further into the history of the Corset. Personally I love a cinched in waist, bustle jacket, Corset almost anything but not sure Id want to chisel my body permanently or even better go with out breathing just to slim down. This looks a little extreme but Ill do a bit more digging before I totally decide to go with out air to my diaphragm for years to look a little thinner for fashion.
Tomorrows Post THE HISTORY OF THE CORSET. Until then enjoy the article and Photos of miss skinny waist. And HOLD YOUR BREATH.

Twenty-seven-year-old Kelly Lee Dekay practices tight-lacing, a method that modifies ones body shape by constantly wearing a tightly-laced corset. She’s worn said corset for seven years, thus whittling her waist down to 16 inches, and has now explained why the process is about sex and art – not a vanity venture.
The model and designer told our sister site Cosmopolitan.com: “I’m not a waist trainer. I’m a tight-lacer. I’m a corset fetishist, my tight-lacing goes beyond vanity. I love the artistry in the construction of the corset and the people who are part of that culture.”
Kelly also stresses that she herself is a feminist, and far from the process being for the “male gaze”, it’s all about doing something for herself.
“I know for sure I’m going to get a lot of heat for [saying I’m a feminist] given corsets’ dark history. I started tight-lacing for me. I enjoy it. I wear my personality on the outside. But is it for everyone? No, absolutely not. But it’s my body and my decision.”
She then continued with a wonderful point about how some perceive feminism, and highlights that there’s no singular ‘right’ way to be a feminist.
“Telling someone to conform to your idea of feminism is still oppression. People have this sense of entitlement over a woman’s body. I reject that entitlement and choose to do the things that make me happy. That’s feminist. My body, my choice.”
